A, B,C,D, and E. use the skylink train to move from terminal to terminal.
It depends on the terminal, some international arrivals arrive in terminal D and terminal E. You should allow time to go through customs which can be a long walk. Then you can take the sky train to other terminals.
Delta is Terminal E, AA is all Terminals
Terminal E
Got to aa.com
Check on American airline websites.
We have quite a few options available for you, Jeanette. Please visit dfwairport.com/journeyplanner and plan your journey through DFW. We look forward to seeing you.
Minute suites is $20/hour and there are 2 Hyatts in the Terminals
Yes, you can find all the locations including other Coffee shops at dfw.to/coffee. Thanks for asking, Elaine.

Kept clean even in this special period of time. Quick security check and kind staff. Just the terminals are easy to miss so please be careful when you are looking for entrance. Food and stores are convenient. Better than most average airports.
The way that they handle those that needed wheelchair assistance is OUTSTANDING! I travel consistently and do not enjoy having to be pushed around as I weigh more than I look. They truly utilize the electric carts extremely well. There is a system! It works! More airports (especially Frankfurt, Germany) needs to model their service after DFW!
DFW airport is massive. Plan ahead and give yourself extra time. Depending where your at, the sky train (whatever it's called) can take 15+ minutes to go all the way around. Luckily there's some places open to eat at the airport... look at the list on the board in the aisles.
Travel out of the country twice a year. First time we've flown into dallas. This has to be the rudest and most inconvenient airport ever. If at anyway possible save yourself the hassle and fly to another airport if you have a connecting flight. You will be a lot better off...
First time to DFW since covid19, appears safe, most stores are closed and most people are masked up(90%) there are probably about 30 percent restaurants and stores open.
Way cleaner than a lot of other airports! There are plenty of charging stations and seating, and although there is a lot of people there, it never feels crowded because of the vast size of the airport. The skyrail was awesome as well. You can get from literally any point in the airport to the next in under 10 minutes. Thank you to the engineer and planner that made this amazing efficient place.
First experience was all kinds of scary however we had a great guy on our first flight to help us navigate! Skyline was fun especially for a 5 yr olds first "train ride"! The AA app boarding pass sent us to the wrong terminal first but we figured it out! The airport is huge
Great International Airport! Large and easy, even the arrival pickup security is pleasant! Dallas has great Airports!
The airport was bery nice easy to follow the signs and get around. Didn't really get to try the food because of the pandemic.
Easy movement, lots of food options, lots of seating at chairs and tables...mostly easy to social distance. Almost everyone wearing masks correctly. Flew into terminal B and transferred to Terminal C.. easy transition with clear directions.
Waiting areas not too crowded, social distancing is not too difficult. Many sit down restaurants are temporarily closed, but food and drink to go can be found without much difficulty. From my experience here (connecting flight) American Airlines is packing their planes full (most middle seats were occupied on both my flights). I would expect this to be the norm now as DFW is AA's home. Mask wearing enforced on plane but not in the terminal. Looks like Texas may have a tough time flattening the curve.
Easy to travel between terminals. Employees are not hostile but far from friendly for the most part. Directory signs and info is accurate plentiful and easy to follow. Plenty of things to do for a long layover when they can reopen
Excellent modern airport. Very well organized with good signage. The shuttle busses are clean and efficient. We had to go most of the way across to go from the terminal to the rental car but everything was very smooth. Well done Dallas
Look, DFW is busy, no doubt about it. What makes it great though is that old Texas charm. They will help you however they can to get the things you need, get you where you need to go, etc. I've flown all over the world and DFW is still the best airport to be at IMO. Great food, even to take with you on the jet. Do not worry if you need to fly through DFW, you're in good hands there.
Excellent experience today in the DFW Airport! Everyone we encountered was courteous. The bathrooms were clean. The Skylink was running in both directions. The Gate agents with American Airlines were awesome! Plenty of restaurants to choose from. A++ folks!
I stopped for a 3 hour layover and thoroughly enjoyed wandering around this beautiful, modern airport. I was disappointed in the availability of Texas related merchandise or authentic, Made in Texas souvenirs, but there's plenty of Dallas Cowboys products to choose from. I walked about 3 miles, as it is quite large, but very well organized with many spacious sitting options, charging stations, bathrooms, and a variety of food & drink vendors in each terminal. You can expect airport pricing, and some shops are still closed due to the pandemic, but perhaps you can find a sale or deal on the clearance rack (70% off gourmet chocolates, yes please!) The art installations are eye catching, and even the bathrooms are updated to include red & green overhead lights to indicate an available stall. Overall , DFW offers a great airport experience & I hope to return again in the future!
Clean modern looking but very busy airport. Could use more comfortable seats bu the gates
DFW has a vast selection of restaurants in each terminal; however, due to Covid a few are closed as well as some stores. It usually quite a vibrant place, and may get back to that after the pandemic.
I have always found DFW to be a nice and clean airport! The people are very nice and friendly unlike other airports that i have been to. This is a huge airport and love terminal D, they have an area for shopping with different retail stores! Their lounge seats have chargers for phone which are very convenient. They also have a table/work area to do some work which helps when you have to plug that laptop to do some work.
Fair warning... only 24/7 joint open for food is 7-ELEVEN in terminal C. But it's well stocked. Employees really nice. The airport is very clean as always but i see someone cleaning all the time. Everywhere. American Airlines staff was so helpful. Much appreciated. Different gates but they were all great services. Well informed. I felt heard.
The airport is pleasant, only that there is a lack of personnel to guide you for your entry to the United States since all the people were confused. but the truth in the end is much faster everything.
Lightly more open shops than before because of COVID 19... EASY CHECKING
Easy to traverse with Skylink and lots of food choices! I came through on a layover so I didn't go through TSA here. Ling & Louis Asian fusion had the BEST BURGER I'VE EVER EATEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE in Concourse A. It was absolutely delicious!!!!
Great place to work. Spacing is available for this epidemic season. Personel wear they mask and they wash their hand. Hand sanitizer is being use. We take care in the work space.
-1 star for the usual cluster headache of baggage security screening. Not much social distancing on with people being slow and the usual grabbing of bins. (You would think TSA could hand people sterilized bins ). Pretty gross process in these current times.. I flew with Spirit Airlines. Cheap first class upgrades. Very friendly and accommodating. It was a packed flight.. & they were not playing around about face masks. If your mask wasn’t up to a certain standard they let you know walking on the plane and gave out a mask that was safer. If you wanted to look cool and have your make on but not cover it over your nose, they had you corrected. I wouldn’t expect them to keep being so giving & nice. A very warm way to teach people what is safe to wear and how to wear properly, in this guide-less pandemic. Props to stepping up Spirit!
Although face masks were required, I was disappointed to see quite a few workers with no face masks on and there were no temperature checks! Both American and Sun Country airlines flights were packed like Sardines as if it’s business as usual. I wasn’t pleased with the safety measures. I guess I’ll be driving from now on until things get better worked out. I guess the airlines said f**k safety! Let’s get money. Just like like both my flights were cancelled and rearranged to make all the planes full. I want to see more safety guidelines from Both the airport and airlines! I just wanna feel safe. Too much to ask for??
Great and very clean.. as long as your wearing your mask you will have a smooth trip.
This place is big At 2019 we went to DFW Airport in afternoon. Then we went to that plane named JetBlue to go to Boston Massachusetts. Last year 2019 vacation was AMAZING!!!
Well organized airport strictly implementing Covid19 precautions. Parking/Direction signs are well placed and the airport is easy to navigate.
The airport was great. I had an easy check in and all. As I was setting outside having a smoke, a US SOLDIER got off a shuttle bus. He was in uniform, and had 6 total bags. Had no way to getting them all up stairs. So I went up stairs to ask if he could get a cart or if someone could come help this gentleman that was out defending our country and they refused to help him. There was another gentleman outside smoking as well we decided to help this man carry his things up (I have 7 hernias i should not have carried anything) but like i said he is a SOLDIER! I got him to the line and went to the front to sit his bags an American Airlines question me about cutting in line. This man needed to be more respected and I felt disrespected for him. American Airlines you should be ashamed of yourselves
Airport was excellent! American Airlines gate agents were very slow...waiting line at ticket counter took me 20 minutes and the line was 10 people long continously. Not very efficient!
Clean and kinda busy. Most venues open but still lines waiting in front of food establishments. Only had a little over an hour here in the American Airlines wing. Short layovers are a blessing and a curse. Happy travelling America. Don't forget your mask...duh.
This is one of the most user-friendly airports I've ever been! I flew into it DFW Sept.19 & it was te first airport I ever it went to that other than London where I had no knowledge of the surrounding area & I was able to navigate getting on a train to the center of town my first trip out of the airport! WOW! Who would expect this in Dallas & from someone there for the 1st time! I really wish I did get that job that I flew to DFW for, because people are so friendly there, both in & out of the airport- amazing!
I was in a wheelchair from flight to flight.Atlanta was great but in Dallas-Fort Worth they were not very nice. They ran me to my next flight very fast and left me there, but not before they waited for their tip then they disappear. It made me very uncomfortable.
Nice airport with many good choices for food and plenty of places to charge devices. Decent bathrooms.
Clean, accessible, easy to navigate. Absolutely no where to access healthy food for children with food allergies. How about a simple fresh salad with dairy free, soy and nut free options in terminal A?
This is a really fun airport to come to and I have had the blessing so far to ride around on the monorail system system about three times so far. I also love that the staff between security and airlines are professional and very friendly especially in these trying times where the airport closes at 7 pm and you are used to flying red eye. I miss longer flight hours but have been blessed with patience and a place to stay.I csn recommend flying American Airlines from this terminal.
The gate agents are not very friendly. Rarely do you have a pleasant exchange and they are the always in a rush then slowdown yo-yo types. Though I cannot think of any US airport that would satisfy the mother below looking for healthy nut-free, soy milk and non-GMO foods. Been to most of them.
This airport is horribly designed. Every connecting flight is on the other side of the airport and the only way to get there is through their tram. This creates an issue with Covid-19 because instead of keeping each airline, flights going to the same destination and connecting flights to the same section they have everyone crossing all over the airport and using the trams increasing exposure risk and crossing traffic from all over the country.
Security was a breeze and the directions to my gate were well marked. I arrived later than I had planned but still had time to sit down and rest for a bit before my plane started boarding. The fountains for filling water bottles is also a nice plus.
The pilot for my Delra flight NEVER pulled his mask up to cover his nose from the moment he walked into the airport to walking down the jetbridge to the plane. Also, some airport employees didn't wear their masks properly either. Do better, people. Shameful!
New clean and shiny.....plus it's ginormous. There's never really a long wait in any terminal. And with all the different retail and food places it's almost like a mall...
Not really concerned with if you have a problem. But it does look clean and safe.
Security/tsa is efficient, polite, and quick, the place is clean and most shops are open. Our flight was bumped 3 times from terminal to terminal but the skylink tram is so quick we were at the new gate in minutes. Quick clear directions and helpful friendly staff will help if needed. I am now at ease passing through the 3rd largest airport in the world. We love you Texas!
Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport (DFW) is one of the largest airport in Texas! I stopped at this airport for a layover a decade ago, and the airport was great with varieties of shops and services! Nice and courteous staffs! Very spacious and tidy! Organized! Professional service! 👍
Dallas airport is nice & clean. I've only had layovers here so I can't say anything about outside airport or parking. Everyone seems friendly. They even had someone at gate to help you with your next departure, very nice.
The young lady at American gate b14 was a little rude. She needs to learn customer service skills. Asked her to valley my carry on I have a bad back and she said it fit. Wrong. Overhead compartments to small and not enough being a small plane. The flight attendant took care of my bag. Thanks American Airlines.
Best airport in the area, very quick and easy, very clean, and comfortable for International and Domestic travel. I have flown out of here to Dubai and back in 4 times from this airport and I would definitely recommend booking from this airport before flying.
sky train doors wouldn't close....slight delay. Otherwise nice and easy layout. Just make sure you have time as terminals are far apart.
